The Forum was set up to provide a voice for local businesses within the wider community and to make South Woodford an even better place to work.
We strive to improve communication between businesses, to provide support and to establish a business network with regular meetings and updates.

The South Woodford Business Forum (SWBF) is currently focussing on holding free networking events for our local businesses, which are proving to be very popular. Short presentations are given at each event on topics designed to add value to our businesses.
The aims of the Business Forum are:

to provide support
to establish a business network
The forum provides signposting to resources and initiatives to help businesses to develop and grow, as well providing support for local issues - parking, crime etc. Churchfields and South Woodford Councillors offer their full support and attend when they can. We also collaborate closely with officers from the Redbridge Enterprise Team and Civic Pride, and Business Watch Coordinators (Neighbourhood Watch).

We held a FREE Business Networking Event on Thursday 16 November 2023, which was very well attended. Our next Networking Event is on Thursday, 15 February, between 17:00 and 19:00 at Starbucks in George Lane E18. This event is now fully subscribed but please email us as above if you’d like more information on our next event.
